Do you like ham?

I surely do...as I have a 17 1/2 pound one who makes me smile and laugh everyday! Check him out here bustin' a move!

I just love his little body! His tiny little arms and cute little hands and feet-yum...I could just eat them! See, ham!

Check out Owen as a super star...NO...not our Owen but Owen's buddy Owen from MI who is another super cutey hammin' it up for the news!

Also, please consider donating to the March of Dimes March for Babies over at my friend Amy's blog. She is the one I blogged about back in December who lost her precious daughter Lydia shortly after birth.

As most of my readers know, I have a very special place in my heart for preterm babies and such as I have had two pregnancies end in preterm delivery-Jacob back in '03 at 34 weeks weighing 5 pounds 13 ounces and spending time on the Ventilator and CPAP as he suffered from hyaline membrane disease HMD or RDS and then ofcourse, Owen born in '06 at 32 weeks gestation weighing only 2 pounds 13 ounces and spending 26 days in the NICU for growth, temperature regulation, and feeding difficulties.

I also am an L & D RN and have seen more parents suffer due to preterm births and serious birth defects than anyone should...and we can all help out even if it's just a few dollars-every penny can help make a 2 pound 13 ounce slice of bacon turn into a thriving 17 1/2 pound ham;-) Thanks for checkin in on us~I'll be posting again soon to let you all know how his speech evaluation went and to see if he's flunked out of PT and OT-see picture with tupperware ball-> he knows all his shapes and has mastered the ball;-) he, he.
