Well, we are home. The catchy little title above is a cute song that reminds me of ONE of Owen's TWO diagnoses. Hand, foot, and mouth disease. Sounds awful and frankly, it can be (but so far it looks to be pretty mild). The pedi says all 3 boys may end up with it and he said to call my friends who've been in contact with us...sorry Lindsay and Heather. Ugh. And if one viral dx wasn't enough, he also has a good old fashioned ear infection. Which, landed us another antibiotic. Yay. I still feel cruddy too. I won't go into my TMI symptoms but know that I'm feeling really yucko! Owen is already in bed but I may try to snap some pics of the sores on his feet (which are very mild currently, I hadn't noticed them prior sitting in the exam room waiting for the MD). I still can't believe we got a 2-fer-meaning 2 diagnoses in one visit. Ok, looks like we'll survive but, more house arrest for us.
Oh and as lame as it is...I'll end by wishing my dear sis a very Happy Birthday today. Being sick is keeping me from getting to do anything special for her/with her but being the contagious nature of my current life...I'm doing her a favor by staying away;-) Happy Birthday sis!

Checking for an update... bummer. At least you have some meds and will hopefully be on the mend soon. Sorry you have to be stuck at home! I am going nutty today with all the rain... Morgan keeps BEGGING to play in the sandbox!
Ruby just had HFM a month or so ago, so we'll just pray it's the same strain, and she'll be good to go! :) I hope you all start feeling better very soon. It's yucky to be sick. Of course, rainy days are the good days to be sick, in my opinion. ((HUGS))
I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm not feeling well myself either. But I do agree with Lindsey that no better day to be sick than a rainy one. Get better soon!
Woo hoo, house arrest! Just kidding--you know how I feel about that! Glad the doc figured out what was wrong with Owen...I hope he heals quickly. Hope you feel better soon, too!
Drew had hand foot and mouth disease too! Anne was so bummed out but he came through like a champ. You guys have sure had your share of sickness (and someone elses share too!)Hope all this is now out of your systems and you can get back to normal.
Oh!! It never ends!! Hope your household is better soon and non-contagious! We still love all five of you! Just don't plan any visits here, okay!! ;)
So sad to hear about more illnesses! Oh...and in answer to your email (which I finally now have again), I posted today on my non-private blog. It's craziness, I tell ya! :)
Keep your chin up!
